Bright, floral, and elegant, Proem is a washed Ethiopian coffee from the celebrated Banko Chelchele region of Yirgacheffe. Grown at elevations of 1,950–2,160 masl by over 500 smallholder farmers and processed at Tracon’s washing station, this coffee showcases the very best of Ethiopia’s heirloom varietals.
With a cup score of 87, Proem offers a tea-like body and lively acidity, balanced by deep layers of flavor. Expect delicate notes of jasmine and green tea, lifted with bursts of blueberry and blackberry, rounded out by a silky finish of dark chocolate.

What makes this coffee truly special is the people behind it. The exporting is led by Danya and her mother, Aisha, two inspiring women who are working to strengthen the visibility of farmers in Ethiopia’s coffee supply chain. They are building new pathways for producers to connect directly with roasters around the world.
